Questions, problems, or feature requests? You're in the right place.
Which iPhones does EasyShot work on?
EasyShot runs on iPhone SE (2nd generation) and newer. Multi-cam features (simultaneous recording from the wide and ultrawide rear lenses) require iPhone 11 or newer. On iPhones without a second rear lens, EasyShot falls back to single-camera recording automatically.
Does EasyShot work on iPad?
EasyShot is designed for iPhone only. iPad support isn't planned for v1, but may come in a future update if there's demand from users.
What iOS version do I need?
iOS 26 or later. EasyShot uses iOS 26's Liquid Glass UI and other modern APIs that aren't available on earlier iOS versions.
Does EasyShot work without an internet connection?
Yes. EasyShot is fully offline. All recording, cropping, and exporting happens on your device. You never need a network connection, before, during, or after recording.
Formats & recordingCan I use only some of the four formats?
Yes. Open Settings and enable only the formats you want. At least one format must stay active at all times. You can change your selection anytime between recordings.
What is multi-cam and how does it work?
On iPhone 11 and newer, EasyShot can record from both rear lenses simultaneously: the standard wide lens and the ultrawide lens. Each of your enabled formats is then exported from whichever lens best suits it. You can reassign formats to either lens in Settings. Multi-cam uses more battery than single-cam, and on some devices it's capped at 1080p for thermal reasons.
Can I disable the multi-cam feature?
Yes. Open Settings, scroll to Multi-Cam, and turn on "Force Single-Cam." This saves battery and uses only the main rear lens for all formats, just like on older iPhones.
TeleprompterWill the teleprompter text appear in my recorded video?
No. The teleprompter is a live overlay on your camera preview only. It's never burned into the recording. What saves to your Photos library is the same shot a viewer will see, without any script text anywhere in the frame.
What file types can I import into the teleprompter?
Plain text files (.txt) and PDFs (.pdf). Both are imported through the iOS Files app, so you can pull scripts from iCloud Drive, On My iPhone, Google Drive, Dropbox, or anywhere else connected to Files. Scanned PDFs without a text layer aren't supported; you'll see a clear error message if you try to import one.
Can I edit my script after importing it?
Yes. Once a script is loaded, tap the pencil icon on the teleprompter's adjustment strip to open the editor. You can type changes, paste in additions, or replace the script entirely. Any edits reset the scroll position to the top of the script.
Purchases & troubleshootingIs EasyShot really a one-time purchase?
Yes. Pay once on the App Store and the app is yours. There's no subscription, no recurring charges, no in-app purchases, and no features locked behind a paywall. The price you pay is for the full app.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com on a computer, or use the Report a Problem link in the Apple purchase email. Apple reviews all refund requests individually.
The app crashes or behaves unexpectedly. What should I do?
Email support@easyshotapp.com with as much detail as you can provide:
- Your iPhone model (for example, iPhone 12 Pro)
- Your iOS version (Settings → General → About → Software Version)
- What you were doing when the problem happened
- A screen recording, if you can capture one
Because EasyShot has no crash reporting built in (by design, since we collect no data), we rely on your description to diagnose issues. The more specific you are, the faster we can help.
